Magalix Enterprise, a cloud security and policy enforcement platform, is now an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) technology partner. As an OCI partner, Magalix fully supports Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE), enabling users to secure their OKE infrastructure with Magalix security-as-code platform.
By supporting OKE, Magalix allows customers to connect OKE and non-OKE clusters to a single backend platform for an integrated and unified view of their security, ops, and development teams.
“We wanted to help our enterprise customers to have more flexibility about where our backend and their policies should run. Many enterprises wanted to have a unified experience and secure platform to secure their kubernetes clusters whether they are running at different cloud providers or on-prem. The new enterprise version of Magalix provides a new set of policies with the ability to scale to hundreds of Kubernetes clusters,”
Mohamed Ahmed, Magalix co-founder, and CEO.
Magalix supports its enterprise version on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The enterprise version of the Magalix platform offers advanced features, such as detailed compliance reports, multi-cloud support, a much larger policies library, and advanced infrastructure security.
"Our single-tenant support on OCI/OKE provides more options for enterprise customers who demand more airtight security and control. This provides OCI customers with a Magalix deployment that is fully contained within their VCN where they can control ingress and egress rules as well as having full access control on their compliance data. At the same time, customers can still get the full capabilities of Magalix in monitoring security posture and enforcing policies from commit time to deployment time," commented Ahmed Badran, Magalix co-founder and CTO, about the newest offering.
"We are excited to have Magalix run a dedicated backend on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to meet the highest security standards," said Gilson Melo, Director of Product Management, OCI. "By adding an extra layer of protection for Oracle Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE), Magalix empowers DevOps and security teams to enforce the best security, compliance, and operational excellence. OKE users will hit the ground running with Magalix's comprehensive policies library which covers a wide range of configurations and standards."
Magalix is a cloud security enabler, leveraging security-as-code and compliance-as-code, to embed security at every stage of the development lifecycle - from code to cloud. Magalix Platform offers capabilities such as: monitoring security postures, enforcing security guardrails, real-time monitoring, analytics, and more.
